Grave Tending Service

Our grave tending service is designed to help keep your loved one’s resting place clean, tidy and respectfully cared for when you are unable to visit as often as you would like. We provide a basic clean and tidy of the grave and surrounding area, including removing leaves, weeds and general debris, cleaning the headstone and cutting back any overgrown grass or vegetation.


We can also provide a fresh flower service, placing a tasteful bouquet or arrangement at the grave on your behalf. Whether you live away from the Island, have difficulty visiting regularly or simply want the reassurance that the grave is being looked after, we can arrange regular or one off visits. We treat every grave with care and respect, giving you peace of mind that your loved one’s resting place is being maintained with dignity.

Once you have paid for your grave tending visit, we will contact you to obtain the details we need to locate your loved one’s grave. This will include the name of the cemetery, the location or position of the grave within the cemetery, the name shown on the headstone and any other information that may help us identify the correct graveside.


If you would like us to attend on a particular day, or before a special date such as an anniversary, birthday or other important occasion, please let us know by email when making your booking. For clients who use our grave tending service regularly, we will keep the relevant details on file, so you will not need to provide this information for every visit.


Once we have completed the grave tending visit, we will send you a photograph by email showing the finished graveside, giving you peace of mind that your loved one’s resting place has been respectfully cared for.

    Fresh Flowers As part of our grave tending service, we can arrange for fresh flowers to be placed at your loved one’s grave during our visit. We can provide a tasteful bouquet or seasonal floral arrangement, carefully chosen to create a beautiful and respectful tribute. Whether you would like flowers for a special occasion, anniversary, birthday, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas or simply as a regular gesture of remembrance, we can take care of everything for you. Our fresh flower service is ideal for families who live away from Jersey or are unable to visit the cemetery themselves. This has to be booked with out grave tendering service.
